In Loving Memory of the Innocent Souls Taken Too Soon. United in peace, their light shines on in the hearts left behind. October 7, 2023, a day of sorrow, but their memories guide us toward a hopeful tomorrow.
Assaf Schlesinger, z"l, from Rosh Haayin, was murdered at the Nova nature party.
He was there as a paramedic and the head of the medical crew.
From testimonies that keep accumulating, his children learned that Assaf took care of the wounded until the last moment. "We found a recording on his personal phone, while he was swearing, in which he is heard treating the wounded, talking to the MDA and observing the incident. We also saw on one of the news channels a video of him putting an injured woman in a car and driving her away. We posted the video on Facebook and the injured woman responded and told how he took care of her and evacuated her from the place of danger to a makeshift wounded clinic. We believe that more stories will come."
