In Memoriam of:

Asaf Master

Age: 22

From: Kibbutz Bahan

In Loving Memory of the Innocent Souls Taken Too Soon. United in peace, their light shines on in the hearts left behind. October 7, 2023, a day of sorrow, but their memories guide us toward a hopeful tomorrow.

Cpt. Asaf Master, z"l, 22, from Kibbutz Bahan in central Israel, a platoon commander in the 401st Brigade’s 601 Battalion (part of the Combat Engineering Corps). Asaf fell in battle in the norther Gaza Strip.
"He was simply good at everything he did, he was my and my sister's best friend, he taught us everything we know. My brother was the happiest person I knew. His smile never leaves his face, he has a crazy ability to make those around him smile. The funniest person I've ever met, but also the most serious and responsible person. They say we're really alike."" said brother Roy (19) who is supposed to enlist in the Armored Corps in two weeks. He was also the great-grandson of Shmuel Gogol, a Holocaust survivor from Janusz Korczak's orphanage.
Asaf left behind his parents, Lior and Michal, brother Roy and sister Lehi (17).
