Cpt. Ariel Topaz, z"l, 24, of Pardes Hanna-Karkur – Intelligence Officer in the Research Department of the IDF Directorate of Military Intelligence (Aman). He succumbed to wounds sustained in the terror attack at the Nir Zvi Junction on 14 July 2024. Ariel Topaz was one of four off-duty soldiers wounded in the terror attack on July 14 at the Nir Tzvi junction. The suspected terrorist was shot dead at the scene by Border Police officers who were stationed in the area.
