In Memoriam of:

Amitay Zvi Granot

Age: 24

From: Tel Aviv

In Loving Memory of the Innocent Souls Taken Too Soon. United in peace, their light shines on in the hearts left behind. October 7, 2023, a day of sorrow, but their memories guide us toward a hopeful tomorrow.

Amitay Tzvi Granot z"l was killed by anti-tank fire launched by Hezbollah near the Nurit outpost in the Western Galilee. His father, Rabbi Tamir Yaakov Garnot, eulogized his son with touching words.

"I want to tell you one last thing, from the blood of my heart... Just in the last few days before the terrible massacre of Simchat Torah... I too was busy trying to change reality, to make peace among the people of Israel. To bring about a situation where all Israel from the left-wing, extreme, protesting districts etc., everyone will dance together in the "Hakafot Shniyot" on Simchat Torah. This is my dream. I didn't succeed, we didn't succeed, instead God took the celebration from us. Instead of dancing together, we will rejoice together and build together, we are together at funerals and wars.
My brothers, who speaks and who hears me, who can convey this, it is far from enough, we cannot be together only in war, we must accept each one for himself. I ask that we accept each one for himself, each one to tell his friend, each One will convey this to all the people of Israel that we will not return there.
Let us not return to the path of strife, of disputes, to the path of 'me and nothing else'. To the path of fragments and fragments. It weakened us, it weakened the people of Israel. It gives space to our opponents, they see it, they recognized it, you know, it It was already written six months before everywhere. It doesn't renew anything. This weakness was obvious everywhere, we are weak when we are like that."
When we love, when we respect, when we believe in each other, if we decide together that we will make a new covenant, which is not only a covenant of fate of war and suffering, but also a covenant of destiny of vision, then there will be a break in our sects and we will be strong, and we will stand against everyone and our light will win The darkness, without a doubt. Without a doubt.
We have come to drive out darkness with our hands, light and fire'. Now is the time for the fire of war, but the time will come for the light of the people of Israel to drive out the darkness of our enemies, the darkness of evil, and shine with a great light.

Do not divide, do not divide, look favorably on everyone. that we see the virtue of our friends and not their lack. Let's make an alliance, let's be together. We will be strong, and no one will be able to, I promise you.
True, I have already said, because of my private war I lost. And I assure you that in the unity of Zion we will comfort and in the love of Israel we will comfort each other. 'The Lord gave, the Lord took away, may the name of the Lord be blessed."
