A fighter and a platoon sergeant in the Elite Paratroopers Special Forces unit, Amit Buntzel z"l fell in battle in the center of the Gaza Strip. Both he and his brother were fighting in the Gaza Strip when Amit fell.
Bunzel was a graduate of Yeshiva Amit Kfar Ganim. "At the age of 16, Amit made a decision that his life's mission would be to serve in the army and protect the country," said his father through tears. Amit is survived by his parents, Yitzhak and Noa, and two brothers, Nadav and Adi.
