Superintendent Amin Akhondov, z"l, was a Team Commander of the Yoav unit of Israeli Police in the Southern District.
He made aliyah to Israel with his family in 2002 from Azerbaijan. Amin is survived by his wife, Libi, and two children: Daniel and Rumi.
