In Memoriam of:
Alim Abdullah
Age: 41
From: Yanoch-Jat
In Loving Memory of the Innocent Souls Taken Too Soon. United in peace, their light shines on in the hearts left behind. October 7, 2023, a day of sorrow, but their memories guide us toward a hopeful tomorrow.
Lieutenant Colonel Alim Abdullah, z"l, from the Druze village of Yanoch-Jat, served as the Deputy Commander of the 300th brigade of the 91st division of the IDF.
He was killed in the exchange of fire with the terrorists who infiltrated from Lebanon on October 9th near Adamit. He is survived by a wife and three children.
His cousin, Fahad Abdullah paid tribute to him and told about the space: "He especially called my two children who are serving as fighters in the IDF, I will remember his care and concern. He was a family man and a commander who cared for his soldiers and his family. His father has been disabled for years, and he took care of him and his mother with devotion. He is married and has two daughters and one son - the older one in 2nd grade, the second in the 9th grade - and the younger one in the 3rd grade. They are very attached to him - it is impossible to describe their feeling, they are very sad and I have no idea how they will deal with the loss. Elim was a commander Excellent, who served 23 years in the army, and was adored by his soldiers. They loved and appreciated him so much. He would motivate the young people in our family to become soldiers, and he would direct and guide them to choose the most meaningful service."
