Alik Pozniakov

Alik z"k was shot to death in Kibbutz Reim. Alik served as a detective in the Magen unit, South District. A police officer who fell in the war, started training at the age of 12 at the Maccabi Bnei Negev Association in Dimona under the guidance of coach Baruch Shapira. When he entered the 9th grade, Pozniakov was accepted into the talented athletics team at the Hadassah Youth Boarding School, and in the years 2003-2005 he was one of the most talented runners in Israel. When he finished his studies, Pozniakov enlisted in a combat unit and in his free time he trained with the group of athletes from the Negev. After his military service, Pozniakov joined the police, and in his last position he served as a detective in a protective unit in the Southern District. With the outbreak of the war in the south, Pozniakov fell in a battle against terrorists.
