Advanced Master Sergeant Alexei Budovsky, z"l, from Be'er Sheva, was a Negev YSM Ranger in the Southern District of the Israeli Police. He fell in battle defending against the infiltrating terrorists.
As a child, Alexei made aliyah with his family in 1995 from belarus. He is survived by his wife, Natalia, and three children: Romi, Daria, and Steven Gregory.
Doron Aloni wrote in his obituary:
"Dear Alexei, I was so sorry to hear about your fall, I had the privilege of getting to know you through joint work, first and foremost I got to know a charming person, a man of execution with strengths that come from the quietness that characterized you so much, the hero of Israel may your memory be blessed."
