In Loving Memory of the Innocent Souls Taken Too Soon. United in peace, their light shines on in the hearts left behind. October 7, 2023, a day of sorrow, but their memories guide us toward a hopeful tomorrow.
1st. Sgt. Agam Naim, z"l, 20, of Kibbutz Mishmarot - Paramedic, 52nd Battalion, 401st (Iron Tracks) Armored Brigade. Fell in combat in the southern Gaza Strip.Agam, one of the pioneers serving as paramedics in a combat role, stood at the forefront of the battles in the Gaza Strip in a role that requires a unique combination of courage, dedication and endless professionalism. Agam was there to fight for the lives of her fellow members of the unit, as she bears a huge responsibility to care for and save lives in extremely difficult field conditions. Agam, from Kibbutz Mishmar, a graduate of the educational institution "Mvo'at Iron", was the first female soldier to be killed in the fighting in Gaza. Agam was an excellent student, majored in biology and computer science and did a dissertation in social sciences. Agam was a trainee and active in the boarding school and in the youth club of Mvo'at Iron and she was also a trainee and instructor in the Hashomer HaTzair movement. After her studies, Agam chose to do a year of service at the Edenim youth village and work with teenagers who were released from hospitalization.
