In Memoriam of:

Adi Beharev Rabinowitz

Age: 62

From: Netiv Hatara

In Loving Memory of the Innocent Souls Taken Too Soon. United in peace, their light shines on in the hearts left behind. October 7, 2023, a day of sorrow, but their memories guide us toward a hopeful tomorrow.

Capt. (Res.) Adi Beharev Rabinowitz, z"l, from Netiv Hatara, was a member of the Yishuv's standby squad. When called up to the reserves, he served in the Border Protection Corps.

On October 7th, he died defending his hometown from the invading terrorists.

Adi's sister wrote in his obituary:

"How do you sum up in a few words the life of a man who is larger than life. Adi is a unique and special person, there are no words to describe you, you are insanely funny, a kind-hearted and generous man of action, an uncle who magnetizes the children to him, you did the usual things in your own special way, you walked with your truth until the end of the day that you went to Beli again when the south was bombed and exploded, the news started to flow, we understood that this was not another day of war in the south, I called - you didn't answer I wrote to you to take care of yourself... just in those moments you took your last breaths... I was sure that you were in the field I was sure that you would get out of it as you knew how to overcome Always for everything.. You went out as always to protect the house and the country, a hero you are brother I would like you less a hero and more alive .. my brother all powerful .. my strong brother my brother everything was small to him until the vile murderers came my brother who sang to my father There is a ladder written on it.. You lived your life the way you wanted You ended your life the way you wanted You left us broken hearted with grief and sorrow beginning to understand that life will not be the same without you Bringing you to eternal rest Together hugging supporting encouraging each other as we always promised each other the rabbinovitz that if anything It happens to one of us, the remaining ones fill the place.. We promise to keep you happy and happy to try to fill the big void left by a total father, proud, dedicated, who gives everything to his children and family. How lucky we are to have you. Farewell, my dear brother.. Beloved and devoted uncle to my children and grandchildren, you remain forever in each of us."
