In Loving Memory of the Innocent Souls Taken Too Soon. United in peace, their light shines on in the hearts left behind. October 7, 2023, a day of sorrow, but their memories guide us toward a hopeful tomorrow.
Amar, z"l, who was married and the father of two children, was murdered near the police station in Sderot, while trying to save the 6- and 3-year-old daughters of Dolev and Odeya Suissa, who were murdered in their car when they tried to escape their city. Amar heard the mother crying and calling for help because she did not know how to drive. He left his car and got into the Suissa family car to drive her away from the scene, but he and Odeya were shot to death, while the little girls lay in the back on the floor of the car and thus survived.
